Top 5 best food and drinks for your buck!
Holy Food Market
Budget : 3 - 15€ / Italian, Belgian, Seafood & Fish
The Holy Food Market can be found in the 16th-century Baudelo chapel on Ghent's Ottogracht. This chapel was transformed into a covered market with various food stalls and kitchens from all over the world. The Holy Food Market find is inspiration in food market halls from all over the world : Barcelona, Copenhagen or Rotterdam...
The Holy Food Market offers a wide range of foods at different prices. These prices are rather on the high side because you also need to pay for the experience and the quality. Be sure not to be put off by the higher prices as a student, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is super cozy.
Central to the holy food market is a large bar where all possible drinks are available. The Holy water gin is highly recommended. In the summer I regularly work behind the bar so I recommend that you definitely pass by!
It is a very friendly place in a rather original space, where you can taste small dishes without ruining yourself!
