Prepare for a journey through the charming streets of **Ghent** as we guide you on a tour of five amazing **theme bars**. 📍 

At each stop, you'll find a unique interior in theme of the bar and an extraordinary ambiance that guarantees an unforgettable, and delightful experience. 

Let's toast to adventure and set out to uncover these **hidden gems**, where every sip becomes a tale worth sharing! 🍾 

 

To choose between the various themed bars, we quoted the bars on ambiance, interior and food. We choose the next bars as our top 5: 

- Alice 
- Polé polé
- Cocotine 
- Limonada
- O’Learys

## 1. Alice - The place for high tea

Have you ever dreamed of living like a Bridgerton? Visit Alice for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the **old English style**. 🍵

Upon entering the old town house, we felt like we were sent back into the **Victorian era**.  Beautiful crystal chandeliers dangle from the ceiling that is painted with angels and other celestial beings. 👼

The room is also filled with **antique treasures** that are carefully placed on the wall alongside the impressive paintings. 🖼️ Delicious-looking pies and other treats are gracefully displayed at the bar. Behind the bar, there is a wall full of vintage glasses, bottles, cake stands, and more. 

Alice is the perfect destination for **breakfast** and **lunch**. 🍽️ It offers a wide breakfast selection before noon and a few lunch options after. On Sundays you can also combine the best of both and choose to **brunch**. All dishes are rich in flavor and fit in with the Victorian theme. In the afternoon, you can also enjoy high tea with mini sandwiches and a piece of pie. 🍰 

For those who are already eager to visit, Alice’s **opening hours** are: 

- Monday: Closed  
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM 
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 
- Sunday: 9:15 AM - 2:30 PM

Alice couldn’t be in a more perfect spot. It is located right in the center of Ghent at **Onderbergen 6.** 📍 It’s the ideal location to eat breakfast, before going on a shopping spree because it’s only a three-minute walk to the Veldstraat. 🛍️ 

## 2. Polé Polé - The Caribbean cocktail bar

Step into a tropical oasis to discover the vibrant and exotic world of Café Polé Polé! 🍹🏝️

Whether you’re in search of a peaceful spot for a **cocktail** or a **delicious wine**, café Polé Polé offers the perfect refuge.😎

With its **vibrant Caribbean** and **Latin American** atmosphere, Polé Polé provides a refreshing contrast to the historical backdrop of Gent. Not only the interior contributes to the feel-good vibe they are always looking for at Polé Polé, the **music** fits also perfectly.💃🎶

The menu at Café Polé Polé is a delightful fusion of Caribbean and Latin American flavors. One of the highlights of the café is **the cocktail selection**. For those who love a hint of the **exotic**, the Ghent Gaucho is a must-try! But if you are more a fan of the **classics**, a martini is one of the old fashioned beauties.🍸🌺

So if you’re having an intimate evening or a lively gathering with friends 😜, Polé Polé café’s setting is just right, **olééé**! The café is located at **Lammerstraat 8** in Ghent, only a four-minute walk from Ghent Zuid. 📍

## 3. Cocotine - The pinkest place

Barbie is nothing compared to Cocotine. This coffee bar is filled with **pink**, **flowers** and **golden objects**. Every detail of the coffee bar fits in with the theme and the soft pastel experience. There are a lot of **cozy seating** options to enjoy a drink or a bite. Cocotine feels like a pink dream come true. 💗

All items on the **menu** also have that touch of pastel. Everything is topped with flowers from Cocotine’s own garden, and some drinks are even pink. Every item is a **unique** piece of **art**. 😍

To check out the menu, you can scan the QR code and see all of the **tasty** options. From hot and cold drinks to sweet **treats**, pastries, brunch items, pancakes, and much more. 🍽️ Your taste buds are in for a **delightful** journey. We strongly recommend the luxurious soy pancakes!

Cocotine is located on the outskirts of Ghent, near Wondelgem at **Leithstraat 51** but definitely worth the detour. 📍 It’s also easy to reach by public transport. 🚌

## 4. Limonada - The modern-Greek wonderland

Prepare your taste buds for a sensational rendezvous at the one and only Limonada! The unusual combination of the **modern-Greek** design and **neon-pink** lighting is an unique experience for a fun evening! 💖

## 5. O'Learys - The American sportsbar
