A night out with friends? Or don't know where to go for your first date? Edel Rot is the place to be! With its typical cosy Ghent atmosphere, you will not miss anything.
Edel Rot is a wine bar located near the Ghent City Hall. The bar is a very cosy place with a quirky but very nice interior. Apart from the very good wines, you can also go there for the delicious tapas! No worries, there is something for everyone at affordable prices.
Not really at home in the world of wine? No problem! The staff will always help you choose a wine to suit your taste!

2. Ona
Ona is a wine bar located near the Vlasmarkt in Ghent. The bar has a indoor part with some nice and comfortable chairs, but also the 'outside' part where you can sit in glass porch.
The menu is extremely large, but the staff helps you to find the best wine for you. You can also buy some delicious snacks. In the porch, the lights dim as the evening continues, bringing a very relaxed atmosphere.
The price for a bottle of white wine is acceptable. Next to that they have a broad menu, where you can find YOUR specific taste!

Pompette is a wine bar located close to the Sint-Pieters train station of Ghent. The bar has a minimalistic and beautiful interior. You can also buy some delicious snacks.
The staff is friendly and hospitable. However, the space felt a bit empty, which didn't bring a great atmosphere.
The price for a bottle of white wine is acceptable. The bottle of wine that we tested, was in the same price range as Ona.
