### **A place to be for active date lovers!**

Want to know if your date is sporty and has good coordination skills? Go to O’Learys!📍

O'Learys is a sports bar where you can do different activities with your date. The choices range from bowling, to arcade games to watching many live sports events. 🎳🎰📺

Got hungry or thirsty from impressing your date? Head to the restaurant to enjoy delicious food and drinks.🍴🍹
The restaurant has an American vibe so enjoy a tasty burger with curled fries and a fresh pint.

Is the date going smoothly and do you want to continue the evening together? O’Learys is just a 15-minute walk away from the city centre.🚶

Was it a drag after all? In 10 minutes you are at Dampoort, where you can quickly catch a bus or a taxi... 😅

In short, it is the best place to get to know your date. It quickly becomes clear whether you want a second date or not. 🏹

## 2. Rococo

### ![Rococo](https://top5gent.be/hs-fs/hubfs/Rococo.png?width=624&height=624&name=Rococo.png) **A little romance never hurt nobody...**

Do you want to start the night with some candlelight and piano music? ️🎶🎹

Rococo in Ghent is one of the oldest bars around. With candlelight being the only source of light, you can’t help but feel the cosy and romantic vibes. 🕯

In the mood for a double date? The bar is perfectly suitable to visit with a group of friends as well, as it's a very popular bar among students. 💞

Betty, the lovely bar owner will welcome you with open arms and will introduce you to her assortment of homemade liquors. If you're lucky enough, Betty will treat you to the house special and you'll end the night on a perfect note 🥃 🫶🏻

After the date, take a pleasant stroll home along the beautiful streets of Oudburg and enjoy the vibrant city life. 💥

The only tricky thing is... It’s going to be hard to top this date 😉

So get creative for the second date!

![Skoop-1](https://top5gent.be/hs-fs/hubfs/Skoop-1.png?width=623&height=623&name=Skoop-1.png)

### **For the movie lovers...**

Do you prefer a more quiet date?  Then we have a good idea for you. A small cozy cinema in the heart of Ghent 🍿 Here it's not too crowded and there's way less light 🕯.

A place where movies for real fans are played, but you can also go there to watch the latest movies. 📽

Maybe go watch a creepy movie and creep a little closer together, but most of all make it cozy! 🧟‍♂️😍

The Skoop also has a **cozy bar** where you can chat after the movie with a hot drink or a glass of wine. 🍷

If you like old, small cinemas, there is another small cinematheque in Ghent. It's called the **Sphinx** and there's a nice little bar there too for after the movie.

Dinner and a movie are always a classic. So if you are a fan of **romantic comedies**, this might be the best choice.
Enjoy each others company! 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏾
